Bridge of Light

I've only recently seen Happy Feet Two, and wanted to tell you how your song, "Bridge of Light" touched me.

My father has been battled stomach cancer for 14 months, plus secondaries in his liver, lung and brain. I sent him the lyrics to the song to keep his spirit up. I love my father, and my mother so much...

My parents have been legally separated (not divorced) since I was 3 years old, I am now 26 years old, but my parents have remained very good friends throughout my life. When my father was diagnosed with cancer, my mother was with him... she has not left his side since his diagnosis. It makes me happy that my parents are such good friends, but it also depresses me, because I feel that this is my father's last year on Earth.

You song, 'Bridge of Light', called to me with messages of love, positivity and togetherness of family. I'm separated from my mother and father by about 1, 500 kms (932 miles), so I feel out of the loop on a regular basis...

Thank you for your beautiful song... it really had the tears flowing and that's very healthy for me right now. Beautiful song, beautiful singer.
