My name is First Lieutenant Erik Estrada and I have been in the Army for 11 years and I am writing to because you are my wife's hero. She is not a fanatic, just a working mom that cranks your music up to escape and cope with the stresses of life.
I will get straight to the point. My wife is an awesome woman who loves me and our kids very much. She probably doesn’t mean much to the rest of the world but for the kids and me she is our everything. When I am deployed she takes care of the kids, household and is ever faithful. I was injured during combat operation and she became the rock I leaned on. She is strong, caring and a beautiful women.
When she feels alone and sad she listens to your music for inspiration and strength; she has admired your work since the beginning of your career and she once had an opportunity to see you perform but skipped it so we could be together before I deployed. Sorry I won out on that one. She calls you her “all time FAVE” and admires the heck out of you.
Now for the request! My wife is turning 30 on the 18th of June 2012. Our close friends will be there, probably no family due to distance. We move around a lot, that is the Army life. I was wondering if you cloud swing on by on her birthday (which will be a surprise on the 16th of June) just to say high and hang for a few. We are a modest family and it will not be a total blow out bash, just the people who care about her the most will be there and may be some sumo wrestling. I know you are extremely busy but if you have time and are in the FT. Benning, GA area we would love to have you.
