Ok, you never know how your music is going to effect people. Me and my 2 buddies were sitting in a bar. ( ok, the Lodge on Cactus- i know you kinda know Las Vegas still) and they played you +Ur Hand in there, really loud. We were listening and jamming out to the music and then we all said to ourselves " Did she REALLY just tell a guy that " Its you and your hand tonight"?. Then we all decided to make that song our official anthem. ( we are all married, you get the idea) Anyways, to make a long story short, I then came to your website. watched that video, ( awesome, love the costume changes and the black-white outfit at the end) and listened to the other tracks on your album. ( Dear Mr. President- WOW, my sentiments exactly) You are such a talented artist, and I feel like sometimes you are speaking to the teen to 20 ish young ladies to help them with image issues or relationship issues or just to have a good time, but be aware also that some old married guys really appreciate your work also. My mom and I have been in this on going argument because she thinks its about an ex boyfriend or her now ex husband and I think its about a friend that died.

It was a hard choice between "who knew" and "Dear Mr. President" and looking at the votes it seems like i wasn't the on ly one as they are the 2 most popular songs. but "Dear Mr. President" i love the most becuase ONE lyric- "...what kind of father would take his own daughter's rights away? what kind of father might hate his own daughter if she were gay?..." this really strikes home tome, becuase i am bisexual and engaged to my gf of almost a year. although i have not gotten anything negative from my own family concerning my orientaion, i have gotten $hit from others outsid my family and those who claim to be my friends.

I have to say, this song is the one I identified with the most.
Not particularly at 13, but not too long after that I had alot of trouble coming to terms with my sexuality, and I identify with this song because there is so much I would say to my younger self.
It just made me think alot about what I would say to my younger self, if given the opportunity.

Plus, it has good tempo for a waltz XD

As a mother of a daughter and soldier in the Iraq war I have to agree with moxyflowe on this one. Although pink did not address the issues of war she addressed just about every issue that people turn a blind eye to ( especially our government). I am an older fan of Pinks but find her work inspiring. She addresses very controversal issues, but you can feel the feelings in her words as they flow out of her music. They are not "Just Words" There are many of Pinks songs that I can relate to, and it was very hard to pick just one to write about. Pink All I can say now is there were times when your words literally saved my life! Thank you......I am looking forward to hearing lots more from you........

My favorits are: Conversations with My 13 Year Old Self, Who Knew, Nobody Knows, Dear Mr. President. And than you've got the classics who 'll allways be good like just like a pill and family portrait.

Pink has so much depth on this album! You know, I always joke about there not being any really great "Angry female artists" any more ( Janis Joblin, ect) . But this album made her go from Hip Hop Crap too actually having some really awesome/ Intelligent things to say. Her voice should be heard way more often, she has the people listening!

i actually like just about every song on this album. my friend introduced it to me and i loved just about every song come to think about im listening to the album right now but yeah i love the album especially cuz i can.
