Hey, got tickets for Hampden on the 26/06/2010 but no travel arrangements included. I am travelling from Cumbria and wondered if anybody could tell me the best way to get to the stadium. Thanx
Yeah, have kinda decided that driving is a bad idea, plus I won't be able to have a drink (altho that might be a good thing!).
Am in the process of searching train and bus times but it's not looking good - I can get there ok but there is nothing later than 10pm coming home, so it really does look like I'll be walking!!
Thanx v much for the reply, it's defo been helpful - living in Cumbria always causes problems, we seem to be miles away from all the good shows!!! xxxxx
Life don't make any sense to me
hahaha well i went to see her at Bolton on Saturday but i really wouldnt recommend driving if the traffic is going to be anything like it was at Bolton. The queue just for the Pink concert was right down the motorway it took us 2 hrs 30 to get there wen it should of taken 50 mins and on the way back was even worse she finished on stage at 10:30pm and we couldnt even move out of are car parking space til 1:30am it was really bad.
Maybe you should have a look and see if there are any trains that you can get there i have never been to hampden park an i dont live in cumbria so i cant help much with that but from my experience i wouldnt drive. I have used the national express coach service to travel to a concert before and they were really good but i dont know if any run from cumbria to glasgow you will have to check on the website.
Hope ive helped in some way
Not sure which method but wasn't sure about parking near the stadium if I drove. Open to recommendations as haven't been to Hampden before!! Can't wait, even if I have to walk!!! xxxx
Hey are you driving, getting train, or coach? or is that what your asking like which is best to do?
