when this song first came out, i would listen to it several times a day. i would listen to this song because it related to my life in so many ways. my parents never got divorced, but they where always fighting, and my dad would leave and say he was not coming back. As, a child the hurt and fear you feel from these actions are unbearable. The only way I knew how to handle it was to listen to music, and go quite. I soon became a angry child and teen. This song helped me to understand that i was not the only one out there that was living this type of life, or has lived this type of life. Still to this day, this song has to be one of my favorite songs, because it fits how i felt growing up, and how i still feel some days now.
