Thanks once agian Scotty. Smiling
It's Frigay for another hour ... so I'm in such a hurry. Let's start with an instrumental by a guitar legend who seems to go very well to most Tarantino movies. Cool
.
Link Wray - Switchblade
.
Einstürzende Neubauten roughly translates to 'collapsing new structures'. This German band was founded in 1980 and they have remained on top of most hipsters', punk rock, new wave, and basically allsorts of experimental and alternative music fans' lists of 'most important bands'...
.
Einstürzende Neubauten - Sabrina (Black Swan soundtrack)
.
And finally: The RUNAWAYS as requested by Punchy. No artsy rock here. Just pure punk rock anno 1977... With some modern film footage with Dakota Fanning, since there isn't an official 1977 music video for this one. Sticking out tongue
.
The Runaways - Cherry Bomb (1977)
.
And I heard that there was a little girl in here who didn't know ERASURE either.....?!! Shocked Shocked Shocked ... Well. Crank up your amplifier and STOP not knowing them! Laughing out loud
.
Erasure - Stop! (1987)
.
... And if you're STILL not sure what kind of music that made them one of the most succesful pop bands in the UK since The Beatles... Erasure's finest years were 1985-1995.
.
Erasure - A Little Respect (1988)
.
And let's finish this Frigay night with something bizarre: A user made 'music video' for Lars von Trier's bleak horror tale "Antichrist"! The idea is kinda sick, because I honestly think he had a major depression when he recorded this film, and I don't even think I like the film - but parts of the imagery is outstanding.
.
Desireless - Qui Sommes Nous? ("Who Are We?")
.
OK. It can't end like this, so ...
.
Michael Jackson - Dirty Diana (Live - somewhat lol)
.
Happy Frigay, everyone. Smiling
