I got this from P!nks myspace page (http://www.myspace.com/pinkspage) and it made me very angry....

I'm tired of all those people doggin on the president, I guarentee if any one of us were to walk in his shoes during the war on Iraq we would make the same decisions he has. Think about it, on one hand we voted him in to presidency WE CHOSE HIM PEOPLE, on another hand we all hate him now..... not sure whats goin on there. In pinks new song she says "let me tell about hard work"....... I bet she dosnt clean her own house, do her own laundry, or anything we do, so I think she should just shut up there. Next she says "make a bed out of cardboard" refering to all impoverished people after natural disasters..... yet again she has never had to wrry about this, little did you know that 1/10 the bills passed by the Bush administration help the lower class america. Insted of writing a song that just slams the president why dont you actually talk to him?? Bet it never happens. Our public view of Bush has changed b/c people like Pink are idiots, I think this should change. Pink talks about the war in Iraq and how no one supports it, well yet again little did she know the majority of people serving in Iraq want to be there, yet again THEY SIGNED UP FOR IT, so honslty to sum it all up I think all you Bush haters should take a minute and think and I guarentee that your thoughts will be changed.

OK I know that people have the right to their opinion, but if I were Pink I'd tell them to go f*** themselves....
I bet they don't even get the point of the song and who are they to say how Pink lives her life. They could at least read her bio before making an accusations like that... And I bet Pink does things just like us...

i dont think people get the song the way we do.... i know i understand it and i know i love it...as i've said...i have loved that song since i first heard it on her album..... i will tell u my story...
when i was 13 i use to watch the news everyday, one n the morning, then at 4:30pm and at 6pm....i did this coz i didnt like watching TTN at school so i decided to watch the news at home.....after about 4-6 months of watching the news three times a day, i got to the point where i would tune out to what polititions had to say..... not so much Bush but Howard as well.... all they cared about was oil and money and other s*** like that....Howard couldn't be bothered thinking about what was important...in my eyes WATER in Australia was the most important thing.....anyway when i heard the song Dear Mr. President i slaped my hand down on the table and said..."thats so true" .... that song in 100% correct...and i love it.....
I'm not going to go into all my thought about the song....but i can tell u now that i love that song and i will keep on loving it untill it becomes a lie....which i dont think that will ever happen....
