My request would be "Weisse Fahnen" from the german band Silbermond (any live performance as they r live so much better than on CD)....last friday i visited a concert, it was so awesome, a real great live band and still down to earth...unfortenately i made a video of this song but it's without audio, wrong settings which i didn't see in the dark this is a very beautiful song with great lyrics too (sorry but in german )
We r having much snow here and they even say it may be possible that we r gonna get white christmas, very random
I hope all of u have a nice start in the new week
oh and the performance on Wetten dass was stunning again i wish they could do this on the tour , i would love to see it live

The Singalong is back. You asked for it - and one of you even asked me to post a song with performed by the sultry looking Michael Hutchence, who accidentally killed himself instead of pleasing himself... He is very much missed. :S
.
This Norwegian singer songwriter is almost exactly as old as I am. I had never heard of her before, but she definetely knows what she's doing.
. Ane Brun - Oh Love (2011) Ane Brun - Do You Remember (2011)
.
A classical classic - is this archetypical Italian piece from Giuseppe Verdi's 1853 opera Il Trovatore.
. Giuseppe Verdi - Chi del Gitano i Giorno Abbella (1853)
.
David Bowie no longer exists! The artist formely known as Bowie xompletely stopped playing after a heart attack back in 2004. Mr. David Robert Jones is now a New York based art collector. He doesn't wear makeup, and he doesn't have a stylish haircut or wear trend-setting clothes... But he did when he recorded this song!
. David Bowie - Queen b**** (1972)
.
OK, Michael. It's your turn now...
. INXS - Beautiful Girl (1992)
.
Remember this old ennerving ballad? It must've been terrible to play it over and over again at concerts.
. Sixpence None The Richer - There She Goes (1988)
.
Let's make it a little political - although the song isn't actually taing a political stand. The chorus in this song is says it all:
. Ten Years After - I'd Love To Change The World (1969)
. I'd love to change the world But I don't know what to do So I'll leave it up to you ...
.
I'll post another - more christmassy Singalong very soon.
... And I still take requests!

We're good thanks. Counting down the days, til we see the wife And certainly no snow here. Possibly 34 degrees this weekend. The beach is an option but we've had an increase in sharks this year so....perhaps not
Today, no snow but -4°C at the moment. Thats not too cold, compared to the temprature we had last year.
Yesterdays snow is still here.
Hope it will be a white christmas this year, and the chances are quite good.
So how are you doing on the other end of the world?
It has been snowing all afternoon here, but most of the snow is still melting. It just doesn't get cold enough in Copenhagen.
Coastal climate + big city = No white Christmas.

Yes, I think that's a good plan. Perth Arena has just opened, in readiness for June 25th!!!!!! But before then, I willow see who else is playing and give you some post ideas. As we know INXS have already played - and finished - so something from them willow be good please
Kasper, yes I noticed your chosen setlist is not commercially backed - which makes sense with your liking of, "Try This," yeah. Not to make you cringe but I am looking forward to hearing, "Raise Your Glass" too. Maybe it's an Aussie thing (and a Di thing) or an underdog chant that will raise the roof (and our glass).
Hi,
yeah Netty, i heard that she will be on Wetten Dass...? at December 8th.
She will perform. I just hope the new host doesn´t f*** up again, like he did with Tom Hanks. Would be sad if it would be her last time performing there.
And i would rather prefer a privat concert in my livingroom for my birthday. I case she is already in Germany be then.
lol i know that won´t happen, but i can dream.
I can´t wait for the new tour aswell.
Will be great. I already got me some tickets.
HI
How r u all ?
I'm so excited for the tour ...I heard that she wants 2 play some songs she never performed before...if I made a playlist it would be 2 long for 1 concert I guess the acoustic part is always my fav part of a concert but I also can't wait 2 hear songs like "how come you're not here" or "slut like you"
Hey Flo,did u hear that she's gonna be a guest at the next Wetten dass ?

The "Try This" album is still my favourite Pink disc. No fixed concepts, just a damn cool mix of 'urban' rock and something more classic with a great attitude.
.
My Pink song selection below is almost totally stripped of radio hits, so that's never gonna happen... But why not, actually?
.
"Crimson and Clover" is a classic 'uncovering' song. Immortalised by Tommy James and revitalised by Joan Jett and later Prince.
.
Fat Bottomed Girls ... Do indeed make the rockin' world go round. And that is why it should be on Pink's setlist!
—

Interesting......I willow have to have a think now. Who Knew is a must.
Me And Bobby McGee - yes, an absolute classic! And Fat Bottomed Girls....yes, we do make the rockin world go round
Yes, I certainly wouldn't mind that, although I think it would be more appropriate just to have an accoustic part of the show as usual. Some songs just don't work without the electric instrumentation they were written for... And I actually do like sequencers/synthesizers.
.
Pink songs (17):
Eventually, Waiting For Love, Going To California, Chaos & Piss, Crash & Burn, Free, When You're Through, Unwind, Humble Neighborhoods, Cuz I Can, Tonight's The Night, I'm Not Dead, Mean, Please Don't Leave Me, Try, My Signature Move, The King Is Dead But The Queen Is Alive.
.
Covers (7):
Roadhouse Blues (Doors)
It's Late (Queen)
When The Levee Breaks (Led Zeppelin)
Me And Bobby McGee (Kristofferson/Joplin)
TNT (AC/DC)
Crimson And Clover (Tommy James & The Shondells)
Fat Bottomed Girls (Queen)
.
... Now THAT would be a great setlist.

HA! Well our neighbours must think there are lots of angry teenagers in this house! I agree about the covers - though of course we also like her uncovered - boom tish! What about an acoustic tour Kasper?
Not sure until I see the setlist!
The new album songs aren't exactly 'magic' to me. In my opinion there's far too many angry teenager songs, which I think she's too old to sing these days(!) ... and almost not a single attempt at trying something new on TTAL.
.
I wanna hear some songs she's never played live before - or alternatively some really spectacular cover songs like she had on her Funhouse tour. She's one of the very few people who can actually do justice to Queen and Led Zeppelin, and I really enjoyed those performances.
.
Pink's Danish concert is one of her last on her European tour, if I remember correct, but because she's playing the new venue in Jutland this time, the ticket price has doubled!
.
It's not gonna be a problem to get a ticket in the last minute. Her concerts in Denmark are never sold out, and her new album got pretty negative reviews by most music critics here.

Pink has released a new album since the last Singalong was posted. But I am assuming that each and everyone of you have already heard each and every single track on that album, so let's dedicate this Singalong to ... someone else.
. Yazoo - Bad Connection (1982)
- An extended version of the simple yet catchy tune from Yazoo's first album... Of course it's hopelessly outdated these days ... who does even know what a 'phone operator' is?
. Tracy Chapman - Fast Car (Live)
- A definitive acoustic classic and also one of Tracy Chapman's greatest songs.
. Johnny Cash - Hurt
- One of Johnny Cash's last music videos. His voice is not its usual top billing... but he covers this Trent Reznor song just beautifully.
... Everyone I know goes away in the end...
. Queen - Heaven For Everyone (1995)
- Freddie had been dead for 4 years when this Queen cover of an original Roger Taylor song was released. It was also the title song of the posthumous (post Freddie) album from 1995.
.
Back soon...
