I just wondered if UK fans were aware of the outrageous way that Ticketmaster are selling tickets to see artists such as PINK, Eric Clapton, Lionel Richie etc on the UK tour.
They are holding back the very best seats on and selling them at vastly inflated prices on their so called "ticketexchange".
Tickets with a face value of £35 are being sold for almost 10 times this amount.
Ticketexchange was originally intended for fans who were unable to attend shows to be able to resell their tickets. However it seems that it is now being used by Ticketmaster for its own financial gain.
So just remember that when buying from Ticketmaster that they have set the best seats aside for the wealthiest amongst us. The average hard up fan will only be offered inferior seating at face value prices.
I am certain that the artists knows nothing of this scam and equally certain that they would be appalled if they found out.
Do the "richest fans" deserve to be treat any differently to the rest of us?
We have all paid the same price to purchase the many albums, cd's, videos and dvd's over the years. We are now rewarded for our loyalty by being told that you can now only sit near the front if you are one of the privileged few who happen to earn a high salary.
I hope at least some of you genuine fans will agree with me and if possible take the time out to email Ticketmaster to let them know how you feel.
This is absolutely disgraceful and immoral.
Look forward to hearing your views.
