WOW, since i wrote my first poem "I was free" everything just came flooding out lol! dont know if they are any good but im proud of myself lol, didnt think id be able to write poetry as ive never really been that creative xxx

"Invisible"

Watching the people,
Pass me by,
They do not hear me,
I wonder why.

Maybe I’m not loud enough,
I’ll try again,
“Hello, hello”,
Again and again.

A different language maybe?
I do not see,
Why are they not,
Listening to me?

Am I invisible?
This can not be,
I’m standing in front of you,
Why don’t you see?

At the top of my voice,
I’m screaming your name,
I don’t understand,
Is this a game?

I don’t like this game,
It’s not fair,
I’m not playing these rules,
I don’t care.

Panic sets in,
I’m scared I groan,
You’re standing right there,
Yet I am alone.

Why can’t you see,
No-one is listening to me,
Is there somewhere else,
You would rather be?

Watching the people pass me by,
They do not hear me,
I start to cry.

Is this it?
All that’s meant to be,
A world full of emptiness,
No you and me?

It’s just me,
I feel miserable,
In this strange, strange world,
I am invisible.
