yea, why not shake things up a bit?

first grab, IS, dance! simple as that. learn to hav a lil fun. think of the whole world as your dance floor. as they say, "all the worlds a stage" well, make it your dance floor. why not? all in all, it means figuritively. as in, learn to make the best of everything and find fun in every situation. be free and loosen up a bit! also, take it literally if you pleeaassee. get out there and shake wat ya momma gave ya

its no secret music is a pure, beautiful man made creation. i think its one of mans best inventions. music is the expression of raw emotions and feelings. it takes those abstract feelings and turns them into something you can hear, and feel more tangibly. pure genuis! music can be used to express any emotion, feeling, action, ANYTHING! so why not compare life to music?? l
"god is a dj" : if god can control the s*** or good stuff that happens, and if everything can be represented by music, than god picks your playlist he decides your theme song and all that good s***. every mood even can be represented thru music. so everyday, every situation, every life lesson, its all a new song
"life is a dance floor" : well simple as that... dance baby dance! if every scenario is a song, than your life and the settings and the people in it are your own personal dance floor. so the make the best of it, and break out your best moves
"love is a rythm" : love, like any other feeling or emotion, can be depicted thru song. and love is jus one of the many tunes and rythms that will play in life. every one has a different love song that represents their life
"you are the music" : ok ok i know i jus said EVERYTHING is music. and i meant it to. you are the music to tho... (i cant argue with P!nk ). but seriously, life is the dance floor, and you yourself can be expressed thru music and song...

i jus cant emphasize enuf how beautiful music is, and how ANYTHING and EVERYTHING rly can be expressed thru music. with or without lyrics, with or without instruments even. to me, music is expression thru sound and rythm that can create any emotion

you jus hav to find you song, or your "beat" in life. march to the beat of a different drum"? that "ringing any bells" ha i could go all day with these music sayings

oh ok nini na i hate fire lost a few friends 2 fire i fine if u have an issue with sum1 draw their picture or write a letter put it in sealed bag and wack it in ya freezer lol i had 2 buy another 1 . but b very very careful wat u wish 4 as it can have sum real devastating consequences i wrote a few letters in anger and the poor peeps experienced sum pretty horrible things like life strengthening things .

Well JM thanks for this sermon - one of ur shorter ones but one I read & reread - made me think alot. I will need to postpone this homework assignment till after the Carnivals tho - cuz unlike some - I have several letters to write - and I will def enjoy burning them - however some may just end up getting mailed
Burning things does help - I've burned s*** before - and got crap from some friends about it - but def got enjoyment out of it for me. that would be the old bf belongings & crap. Those funhouses are easier to deal with cuz u can end them - and never deal with them again. Unfortunately other funhouses with family members - well not as easy to cut the cord - in many cases it is impossible - those are funhouses u have to visit - so not as easy to burn them down. And they may just have to get their letters (then again - once the fire is goin - well I may have to throw them in). But I like how u suggested the letter may be to urself - cuz for me that will be my longest letter - and I'll enjoy burning it & that is prob something I should do on an annual basis. That is the part of the sermon that helped me the most and will be the toughest assignment - but I think will def help.

Well, my Jm, another gem of a sermon. AMEN. Hmmm I'm going to have to think about this one. I did have a bad breakup many many years ago and it was because of someone who I thought was a good friend. Boy, I wish P!NK was in my life back then. Funhouse definately relates to that time in my life. Yes and I love the line "burn this f***er down". Yeah, but I seem to have let go of all those past experiences and only live for today and the future. Today's looking pretty good and so is my future. The people in my life now are the most important to me. Some moore important than others and again, they know who they are. As for the weekly assignment, would writing a letter to someone now who is very important to me and makes me very happy count. I don't really want to dwell on past sadness, I like to concentrate on future happiness.

ahh do i love this song. where do i begin?
well my loves, its quite simple... its all about demise. the demise of sumthing that was once beautiful and "fun" that became sort of demented in a way. whether we realize it or not, we can all relate to this song. maybe youve had a bad break up and a relationship that ended wen you least expected it, or even a relationship with a friend or family member. or hell, it could be about any life situation where you thought you were on top, and you though you had everything figured out.. then one day it all comes crashing down. you may have been so happy, and you loved that place you were in, but sumthing happend, and now that place is nothing but bad memories and pain. but my friends, this happens to the best of us. we all go thru ups and downs in life. its part of the deal. ya know? it wouldnt be "life" if we fell flat on our faces (or asses) every now and then. otherwise its called a fairytale. and my goddess we all know those dont exist.

BUT, we cant let that "funhouse" drag us down for long. like she says, "burn this fucker down" cant argue with the goddess herself now can we? and by that, she means MOVE ON! put it all behind you and dont let it KEEP you down. its ok to fall and hit the ground sumtimes, jus as long as we learn wen to get back up.

so wen your lookin back on the past, whether you stil feel the pain, or you jus cant seem to get past it, you have to learn to burn it down.

dont let past experiences, heart breaks, or painful moments influence and hinder on your present or future. we cant live in the past, dont dwell on those moments, let go of them so you can finally move on. half of learning to be strong, is learning how to let go of the past, and get back up

Im very sad about the thinks that happend ,but I know that Im not able to change it and I learned sth. I will never do this fault again and miss a chance like that!

Of course I will keep her memory but I think its not fair what Ive done: I had the chance to say "goodbye" but I didnt take it and so much other people would do anything for a chance like that.
This changed me and now Im always trying to say other people how much I love them ,cause Im scared that it could be too late if I say it tomorrow.

@rebbecarabe: i know ya feel on that my grandpa died a few months back n i never got tha chance to say goodbye to him(long story i got issues wit that side of my family) also i was at work wen i got tha call bout his death... so that was not a good day at work.. dont beat urself up over it cuz we cant change time only ourselves. wen i saw him at visitation he didnt look like tha same man. he had been n really bad shape for a long time n did reach out to me i only reached out once back to him but i still wish i tried harder n said good bye to him n told him that i loved him one more time b4 he died i was his only grandchild n he was so proud of me no matter wat n also not long after he died i got a new job that i love so TRUST ME after every storm we go thru n life there s a is a rainbow on the other side of it.
