I think we need more places like the one listed above and less of the zoos where an animals spirit is destroy before it has a chance to live. I am against the way animals get treated within zoos, they disgust me. The preserves that try to help animals recover so they can return to the while or watch over the ones who cannot, are needed all over the world. Where my house is in Michigan the place is surrounded by a world filled with Wild life; Wolves, Deer, Moose, Eagles, and we even have a cougar/panther family hiding out somewhere in the area. The people there are so completely ignorant, a single wolf ate someones little dog and everyone was screaming for all the wolves to be destroyed. Too many things are taken for granted in this world, people need to open thier eyes to what is around them.
